Delivering high-end and quality new build apartments and Commercial units and building on behalf of a Housing AssociationLocation: Swansea, South WalesDelivering high-end and quality new build apartments and Commercial units£5m + in valueThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of their project, ensuring its safe and smooth running, completion within the programme schedule and to the programme budget. They are responsible for ensuring that company systems and procedures are followed fully and effectively and for directing and co-ordinating the supply chain to achieve a quality project build.Senior Project Manager – The Successful Applicant:The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish and will have first-hand experience of managing complex schemes up to the value of £5m.Senior Project Manager –Person Specification:At least 5 years’ experience in construction related leadership positionsConfident individual with proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate activities in a fast-paced construction environmentThorough knowledge of health & safety including CDM regulations awarenessExcellent organisation and self-management skills, self-motivated, flexible and with an enthusiastic approach to workExperience of construction Quality Assurance processes & systemsEffective influencing and negotiating skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressureAbility to motivate and organise others toward a team goal with strong interpersonal skills and a natural leadership styleAbility to work diplomatically in a political environmentSelf-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic approach to workIT literate – including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity of the Internet for business useWorking knowledge of MS Project or similarSenior Project Manager – Benefits Package:Competitive Base SalaryCompany car allowanceCompany Bonus SchemeCompany pension25 Days Holiday plus bank holidaysChoice of benefits
