Your Job Assessment of site topography, potential constraints, main components sizing and selection of suitable technology for green field development (including BESS, agriPV) Preparation and review of design specifications, and Engineering design packages (Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical) for large scale PV projects during all project phases; at early-stage conceptual design, planning package, and tendering Review and evaluation of tender documents and technical requirements. Preparation and review of single line diagrams up to MV and coordinating with grid team the HV specifications to match with the HV single line diagram Evaluation of climate data sources and preparation of energy yield simulations (PVsyst) to provide key project performance indicators for commercial project optimization Leading / participating in site visits in projects early stages to identity buildable area, optimize layout design, identify infrastructure crossings, and prepare site assessment reports Leading / participating in technical discussions and negotiations with third party technical advisors and consultants for Technical Due Diligence of PV projects Your profile Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energies, or similar In depth knowledge of PV system design (engineering planning), IEC codes and specification according to the project / country specific requirements as per relevant standards Good understanding of techno-economic aspects of solar projects and latest market developments Hands-on experience in solar power plant design preferably in the field of utility scale projects, with at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects in UK and ideally a minimum of 5 years in solar PV projects, BESS and ideally Floating and AgriPV Sound design knowledge in areas of solar plant layouts, civil design, SLD, MV and HV equipment s, Power Transmission, System loss calculation, & general electrical requirements of large-scale solar power plants In depth knowledge in modules, inverters, cables, transformers, MV switchgears relays and industry best practices Software skills: Mandatory AutoCAD, PVSyst, (PVCase or Helios 3D ), and MS office; Desired QGIS or ArcGIS Language: Business Fluent / Native English, other language would be a plus Pro-active team player with high degree of self-management and problem-solving ability You are highly committed, have strong communication & negotiation skills, interpersonal and intercultural competence, positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn, willingness to contribute and travel affinity We offer you A truly international working environment with colleagues from all over the world An open-minded, friendly, dynamic, and highly motivated team Interesting and challenging tasks, and thus a scope of professional growth and development We encourage both team work and personal responsibility Very good opportunities for professional and personal development Competitive remuneration and other benefits as per local markets #J-18808-Ljbffr
