The business builds software to aid their clients in evaluating carbon projects that capture, remove and avoid emissions.💼 The RoleWe are looking for a Backend Python Software Engineer with experience delivering on the end to end development of data centric applications. This is a greenfield project where you'll contribute too..- Designing, building and maintaining backend systems in Python- Sharing knowledge and work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders through demos- Contributing to the development of internal APIs- Connect data sources to their data platform so that it can easily be consumed by our customer apps- Automate the boring stuff and aiding other teams👉 Requirements- Experience building data centric backend systems in Python within a startup or scale up environment- Ability to promote and implement coding best practices on the intersection of backend and data engineering- Strong knowledge of SQL and ideally DBT and Snowflake- Experience working with AWS and TerraformSenior Python Software Engineer | Contract | Leading Tech for Good Company | Up to £550-600/day
