Senior QA Test Engineer £55,000

I am recruiting for an experienced Automation Tester / QA Test Engineer to join my client, a small software house based in the centre of Bristol.

The team is made up of genuinely lovely people, and they’re ideally looking for someone to come into the office twice a week initially (but there may be some flex on this for the right person) . After probation, there’s loads of flexibility—you’d only need to pop in once or twice a month!
You’d be joining a small but highly skilled QA team, working on impactful products in public health and community wellbeing. They’re looking for someone with strong Playwright and TypeScript experience to take ownership of automation, becoming the company’s go-to expert in this space. You’ll work closely with the Test Manager and CTO, shaping the automation strategy, improving tools and processes, and expanding test coverage.
Beyond that, you’ll also get the chance to mentor and develop the QA team, foster a strong automation culture, and even explore cutting-edge AI tools to boost testing efficiency!
