We are currently looking for a Senior QC Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the South East of England. As the Senior QC Analyst you will be responsible for mentoring more junior analysts in the team, whilst testing pharmaceutical grade products using a variety of analytical instrumentation ranging from wet chemistry to HPLC.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior QC Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Testing of raw materials, bulk, and completed packaged samples, both routine and non-routine, in accordance with approved test protocols utilizing HPLC, GC, and wet chemical methods.
2. Making efforts to guarantee that samples and testing are planned to satisfy production needs in accordance with the production schedule and unfulfilled orders.
3. General laboratory upkeep, which includes apparatus calibration, equipment, and investigation completion (LOs, OOS, and OOT).
4. Giving the team's other junior analysts guidance and assistance.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior QC Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. A degree or its equivalent in a relevant scientific field, together with appropriate experience working in a quality control laboratory.
2. Familiarity with spectrometry, autotitrators, rheometric analysis, HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry methods
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with testing of pharmaceutical grade products and environmental samples.
