Senior Quantity Manager

City Calling are excited to work with an established client based in York who are looking to onboard a senior quantity surveyor to join their team of staff to help with their current and upcoming projects.

Due to the nature of the role, they are currently looking for someone of an experienced level with a minimum of 5 years of experience for them to be shortlisted for an interview with their management team.

They are currently in a search for experience quantity surveyor who can lead projects from inception through to completion hence they are looking for someone customer focused and should have excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you may :

• Prepare preliminary cost estimate prior to construction


• Advice on appropriate procurement strategies


• Evaluate tenders and tender negotiations


• Value engineering services


• Certification of payment invoices

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you must do :

• Cost planning and preparing feasibility studies


• Take measurements and prepare bills on quantity


• Monitor project budget and cash flow


• Technical auditing and taxation


• Lifecycle costing
