Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils – Swedeen

Salter Grange is currently working with a highly regarded civils specialist contractor that operates across Europe in various sectors and has an excellent reputation in the Data Centre sector.

They are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join early doors into a new commercial team in a forward-thinking business, emphasising training, development, and staff retention.
�
2024 will be massive a year for my client who is looking to retain the services of Savy Civils Project Manager who has full project lifecycle experience with exciting projects won.
Current projects are split between a rail infrastructure project and a data centre project.
�
The successful candidate will join early doors and join a forward-thinking business, emphasising training, development, and staff retention.
�
�Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Preparing and evaluating supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
• Preparation and issuing of contract documents to the supply chain.
• Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.
• Provide data and analysis of issues and risks.
• Managing and forecasting project cash flows.
• Authorise the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Research and prepare various reports about contractual issues, operations, policies and procedures.
• Preparation and agreement of monthly progress payment applications and ensuring prompt payment

Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Academically qualified and relevant experience in the industry.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
