Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Warrington, UK wide works
Salary: �65,000 - �75,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Role Overview:
Mech Electrics are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team based in Warrington. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of various building services projects and this position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including a �15.5M M&E value office in Blackpool, a new build border control office in Holyhead, and a �24M residential project in Manchester City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and value for money throughout the project lifecycle.
Tendering and Procurement: Prepare tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and manage the procurement process.
Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including preparing and issuing interim valuations, assessing variations, and agreeing on final accounts.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, providing strategic advice to project teams.
Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for senior management.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role within the building services industry, with a strong background in quantity surveying.
Extensive experience managing large-scale projects, including commercial and residential developments.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
