As we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team and contribute to our high-profile energy projects.



Role Overview:



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed Infrastructure team, primarily working on high-profile energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of ground-breaking developments within the power and energy sectors. You will be based in either Manchester or Liverpool, with the flexibility of hybrid working. A weekly site visit to Chesterfield will be required to ensure the smooth progression and success of our projects.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function for high-profile energy projects.

  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

  • Conduct risk and value management and cost control.

  • Administer NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and effective management throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Perform a weekly site visit to Chesterfield to assess project progress and address any issues.

  • Provide expert advice on contract management and dispute resolution.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.



About You:




  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the power and energy sectors.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with NEC contracts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites in Birmingham and London once a month.

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

  • Professional membership with RICS or similar is desirable.
