Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) – OUTSIDE IR35Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting into Commercial Manager working on a £40m project in Central London. You will oversee a Project Quantity Surveyor and an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. Working on JCT D&B contractDay Rate: £350 – £475 per day dependent on experience – Outside IR35 LTD companyLocation: Central London Zones 1/2Company: Niche civil engineering contractor who specialise in demolition, piling, fire protection, groundworks, concrete frame and earthworks. They’re well known in the industry and have a great reputation for offering long term contracts with progression internally.Duties:Procurement of materials, plant and labourApplications of paymentManaging subcontractors / labourRaising early warnings and managing CE’sMeasuring and pricing variationsManaging changeDay to day management of QS’sCompleting monthly CVR’sGetting involved with client liaisonMUST HAVE: Experience working with a specialist groundworks or frames contractor.
