Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS)

Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting into Commercial Manager. You will be overseeing a Project Quantity Surveyor and Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

Day Rate: �70,000 - �90,000 dependent on experience

Location: Central London Zones 1 / 2

Project: �50m substructure and superstructure (reinforced concrete) with groundworks - starting October. Working on preconstruction initially before going onto site and seeing the project through to completion.

Company: Niche civil engineering contractor who specialise in demolition, piling, fire protection, groundworks, concrete frame and earthworks. They're well known in the industry and have a great reputation for offering progression internally.

Duties:

• Procurement of materials, plant and labour
• Applications of payment
• Managing subcontractors / labour
• Raising early warnings and managing CE's
• Measuring and pricing variations
• Managing change
• Day to day management of QS's
• Completing monthly CVR's
• Getting involved with client liaison

MUST HAVE: Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience within civil engineering.
