Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils/Renewables – Leeds - £70k + Package

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an Employee Owned Company who have gone from strength to strength over the past couple of decades.
They have secured an impressive pipeline of work already as well as multiple projects expected to land imminently. This has brought about the need for a middle layer of management to help with the growth and the restructure projected.
Work streams include Renewable Energy, Highways, S278, Infrastructure, Remediation Earthworks and Roads & Sewers and contracts include NEC4 (all options) and JCT D&B.
This incredibly flexible business requires someone who enjoys mentoring and developing more junior members of staff. Based in Leeds (with hybrid working on offer), there are three Quantity Surveyors who are looking to develop and this would be one of your key tasks involved. On top of this, the company requires someone with contractual awareness to check for risk and opportunity, negotiate contract terms with clients and to be involved with project contractual issues.
This role is predicted to develop into a Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager role extremely quickly. They are in discussion with a multitude of new clients and are also part of a larger group who are equally embracing the new work streams so this could progress even further to more of a Group Commercial role in the not too distant future.
Starting salary of £70k + £6k car allowance or take part in the fantastic Employee Owned Trust Government backed Car Leasing scheme which allows for much better models for much less tax!
