Senior Quantity Surveyor

I am partnered with a fantastic main contractor, working exclusively on highways projects in St Neots, hiring for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor will give great opportunities to progress within a highly successful team and division within our client who are growing from strength to strength in the industry.As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on NEC 4 contracts, the successful candidate will need to show strong contractual knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.Projects will include Highways and Civils. Experience in either Civils, Highways, Infrastructure, Rail or Energy would be welcomed for the position but is not essential.The role is a Hybrid position with only 2 days required in the office with 3 days working from home. There is a company car or car allowance included with the role.You’ll:Manage Subcontractors dealing with certification of payment and changeManage allocated control accounts with site team including value draw and out-turn forecast / spend profilingKeep cost records and agreement of costs with National Highway Site RepresentativesUtilise site commercial and document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, Projectwise, Forecasting Tool)Procure packages as the work proceedsProvide and present contract, cost and forecasting data to the site teamWe’re looking for:NEC Contract KnowledgeExperience working within Infrastructure / CivilsPrevious experience of managing subcontractors and preliminariesKnowledge of commercial digital systemsGood Communication SkillsIf you would like to be considered for the position can you please send your CV asap.
