Senior Quantity Surveyor

Invision Recruitment are partnered with�a leading Contractor with projects in UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, USA and Canada. They specialise within Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals.

Currently, we are seeking a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Within this scheme, you will be involved in a large-scale new build warehouse valued over �100m, for a world-renowned fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimise risk in all aspects of your duties, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.


• Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency and undertake your role to the best of your ability, mentoring junior staff where necessary.


• Lead the process of obtaining multiple quotations from the market for all domestic work packages to ensure best value.


• Ensure comprehensive and detailed enquiry documentation, covering project scope and contractual information for accurate pricing by the supply chain.


• Evaluate supply chain quotations with the site team to ensure all works are fully priced, mitigating financial or construction risk.


• Oversee the preparation and checking of contract documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance, bond, and warranty requirements, and aim to have executed contracts before work commencement.


• Liaise with senior commercial staff to ensure the main contract requirements are cascaded to the supply chain, with warranties and subcontracts in place before site work begins.


• Compile and oversee interim valuations and variations in line with contractual requirements, ensuring sufficient detail for client assessment and certifying completed works for payment.


• Monitor outstanding sales invoices, working with accounts and client representatives to ensure timely debt settlement and maintaining a balanced cash flow.
