We are looking for a�Senior Quantity Surveyor�to join a thriving and growing rail team in Warwickshire. Our client, a well-established company, specialises in mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, civil engineering (Civils), and signalling and telecommunications (S&T) within the rail sector. This position is available as either a long-term contract or a permanent role, ideal for professionals looking to advance their commercial careers.
The dynamic Senior Quantity Surveyor role will require you to manage and develop client relationships in a fast paced, busy environment whilst always maintaining the highest standards. Experience in rail is essential for this role, alongside the ability to lead a team.
Responsibilities as a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Responsibility for numerous projects
- Management of staff to include development and advice
- Supplying reports to senior management as required
- Monitoring compliance
- Recording and logging correspondence
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Attending relevant meetings
- Carrying out periodic reviews on projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment
- Identifying any risks and opportunities
- Assisting, monitoring and overseeing the production of final accounts
- Other duties as expected with this kind of role
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a similar commercial role in rail is essential
- Qualifications suitable to the role are required along with workplace experience, be it HND, HNC or Degree.
