Senior Quantity Surveyor Warrington£60k - £70k + PackageThe ClientOur client is a leading commercial glazing, curtain walling, cladding and façade specialist and they are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company that encourages innovative thinking, works as a team in line with its vision and values and is committed to progressing talented individuals from trainee roles through to senior management.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist in the financial and legal control of commercial glazing, curtain walling and cladding projects.The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work within the Commercial Team and are involved in all aspects of cost control, co-ordination, installation/delivery, safety, and completion of our clients Commercial / Facades projects from the date of appointment to the conclusion of Defects Liability Period. Candidates must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor and have experience of being the commercial lead on projects with the ability to run two to three projects concurrently, with minimal supervision.The role will require:Proven track record in a similar role, specific experience in commercial building.Ability to manage numerous projects or manage a division within the business.Good Client management skillsExcellent scope management and change control skillsAbility to organise and delegate effectively.Excellent numeracy, grammar & Microsoft Office skillsExcellent reporting and negotiation skillsContractual awareness (JCT & NEC experience)Technical understanding of aluminium / curtain walling and different systems of cladding (preferred but not essential if from a main contractor background)Desired Skills & QualificationsMinimum HNC Building StudiesBSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying desirableCSCS CardRICS accredited preferable.Clean driving licencePrior use of Construct if possibleEngineering background an advantageKeywords: Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Main Contractor, Facades, Glazing, Cladding
