Senior Quantity Surveyor

An up-and-coming cost and project management consultancy are looking to add a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to their supportive team, based in Central London, near Blackfriars.

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

You will be joining a small and growing cost and project management consultancy who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work for the next year. You would be joining a young, ambitious and hard-working team of 18 Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.

As a company their bread and butter is Residential, including Build to rent, Co living, Student accommodation, with a mix of new build and refurbishment and their project values range from �20m to �300m.

You will come in and take responsibility on leading projects and developing junior staff, with a progression pathway in sight, within the company.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will need to produce cost plans, advise on cost options, produce tender documents, contract administration and Employer's Agent service and negotiate and agree interim valuations, variations and final accounts.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• Ideally experience working on Residential projects
• MRICS or currently working towards
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
• Excellent attitude and team player
• Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
