Senior Quantity Surveyor for Tier 1 developer

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join a Tier 1 developer who build on brownfield sites with projects across Oxfordshire. You will be working on traditional build and low rise apartments with a supportive commercial team who have a lot of long servers and people who have progressed through the ranks. This position is ite based in Oxford. You will be responsible for managing the overall commercial aspects of the project with a junior team member to assist.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a developer or Main contractor background, and be competent in managing subcontractor packages with minimal assistance. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team. You will ideally also have the following

• Experience managing packages over �10m
• Managing subcontractor packages, valuations and re-measurements
• Degree in a construction related subject
• Competent with Excel
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
