An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join FM Conway's successful Term Maintenance division working on a brand-new project in Brighton and Hove. As our Senior Quantity Surveyor , you will take the lead in managing all commercial activities and oversee every phase of the project lifecycle. This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site in Brighton and Hove, offering you the chance to shape a transformative project in one of the UK's most dynamic coastal cities.
The duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role will include:
- Undertaking cost value analysis for all aspects of the works carried out under the contract
- Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract
- Leading and driving the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors
- Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to
- Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow
- Providing contractual advice and support to the project and site team
What skills and experience do you need?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in the construction or highways industry. You should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification and you will have a strong understanding of JCT, ICE, and NEC contracts. A valid CSCS card is required for this role.
