Senior Quantity Surveyor

An incredible opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join FM Conway's dynamic and thriving Structures division working on major structural refurbishment project in South London. In this key role, you will lead and manage all commercial activities and drive the change control process. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a multi-million-pound refurbishment project, offering a chance to be a driving force behind a major development in the area. This is a permanent, full time position based on site in South London.
The duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role will include:
- Undertaking cost value analysis for all aspects of the works carried out under the contract
- Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract
- Leading and driving the procurement strategy, including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors
- Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to
- Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow
- Providing contractual advice and support to the project and site team
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and client focused Senior Quantity Surveyor with previous experience working in the construction or highways industry. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and you will have excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts. A CSCS card is essential for this role.
