We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on a major highways infrastructure project. This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office or on-site in London or Woking, with flexibility for remote work on other days. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial and contractual management of a significant highways infrastructure project. You will be responsible for overseeing cost control, risk management, and commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Manage all financial aspects of the highways infrastructure project.
  • Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and regular financial reports.
  • Administer contracts under NEC conditions, ensuring compliance and managing claims.
  • Work closely with the project management team to monitor progress and control costs.
  • Oversee subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts.
  • Ensure efficient communication with key stakeholders and provide commercial support.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure projects, with highways experience being ideal.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with NEC contracts.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Hybrid working availability, with at least 3 days per week spent in the office or on-site (London/Woking).
