Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Essex

Package: Up to £90,000 plus travel expensed

Skilled Careers are working with a £50M Main Contractor who specialise within the Residential and Education Sectors who are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor would be managing two projects, and you will have a QS and an AQS working underneath yourself.

Responsibilities

• The two projects that you would be managing is a building being added to a Sixth College in Central London and the other would be a Refurb of a Theatre in Essex.


• You will be spending majority of the projects based in Essex and the QS in Central London who will be giving you regular updates.


• The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.


• Agreement, preparation and submission of valuation dates and interim valuations in accordance with those dates


• Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions

Requirements

• Ideally has experience within the Education or Refurb sectors.


• Someone has experience managing projects of a similar scale.


• Thrives working part of a team


• Experienced managing a team of Surveyors.
