Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with a market leading building and civil engineering contractor throughout the UK and Ireland.

About the role of senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for leading all commercial aspects of the project and ensuring compliance with the contractual requirements.

Responsibilities for the Senior Quantity surveyor:

• Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for budgets.
• Procurement of Sub-Contractors and preparation of Sub-Contractor order documentation.
• Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues and identification and management of commercial risks.
• Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Degree Qualified
• Construction Experience
• Good knowledge of construction contracts particularly the JCT & NEC Forms of Contract
• High levels of organisational skills
• Excellent numerical, IT and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel frequently to Site, as and when required
