Red Rock consultants are currently working with a UK leader�in the civil engineering sector.

We are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor�to join our clients dynamic team, delivering exceptional civil engineering projects across the Bristol area.

Our client's�portfolio includes highways, infrastructure, residential, commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare sectors, with project values ranging from �1m to �10m.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide a comprehensive quantity surveying service, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring projects remain within budget and providing accurate financial forecasts.


• Managing contracts, producing procurement schedules, and analysing subcontractor quotations.


• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.


• Delivering clear, detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders.


• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.


• Measuring, valuing, and processing subcontractor payments.


• Assisting in mentoring and guiding junior Quantity Surveyors.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior QS in the civil engineering sector.


• Track record of managing projects ranging from �1m to �10m.


• Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, or bespoke contracts.


• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.


• Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Quantity Surveying, RICS membership preferred).
