Senior Quantity Surveyor

Great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leader in the construction space!! Full Time, Permanent Competitive Salary & Package What will you be responsible for? As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be a key part of the commercial team working on projects that range in value from 10m - 40mAdvising on financial feasibility of projects at early stagesOrganising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packagesNegotiating with subcontractor supply chain to achieve best value Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVRWhat are they looking for? Good understanding of both NEC and JCT form of contractsPrior experience in acting as the Senior Surveyor for a regional / national contractorExperience working on projects 10m+Excellent communication skillsThe ability to lead, inspire and mentor junior surveyorsConstruction is changing and my client is at the forefront of that change.
