Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Salary: �55,000 to �68,000 + car/allowance & package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a major refurbishment and upgrade programme to a substation near to Carlisle. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a site based team and play a key role in delivering this important project which aims to improve the capacity of the existing facility.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all costs relating to the project
• Ensuring the project is being delivered within budget
• Providing accurate commercial and contractual advice to the project team
• Preparing all tender and contract documents
• Identifying and managing commercial risks across the project
• Managing subcontractor procurement, applications for payment and negotiation of final accounts

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a major infrastructure project
• Previous experience using the NEC suite of contracts
• Excellent communication skills
