William James Recruitment is working with a global law firm, recruiting a Senior Real Estate Litigation Associate for the firm's London office.
The Role
We are representing global powerhouse, known for its expertise in highly regulated sectors including aerospace, real estate, technology, life sciences and financial institutions. With over 2,500 lawyers, the firm has global offices across six continents but works to forge deep relationships with their clients, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
As one of the market leaders in Real Estate litigation, the team is consistently ranked Band/Tier 1 in the legal directories. The team acts for high-profile clients advising on the most complex disputes and acting for the largest listed and private companies, multinational corporations, and HNWI.
You will be involved in assisting with a broad range of commercial property disputes, not limited to: breach of restrictive covenant and property contract disputes, rights of light, contested commercial lease renewals under the 1954 Act, dilapidations, and overage claims. The team also handles more routine asset management issues to protect their client’s interests.
The Candidate
The team is looking for a Senior Associate to join the growing and successful team. The ideal candidate should be an ambitious individual with a strong academic background and training from a City, top-tier law firm.
Qualified Property Litigator from 4 - 8 years PQE
Experience of Commercial Property disputes
Excellent legal skills and highly motivated individual
Ability to work well within a team
Excellent initiative and ability to think on your feet
