Senior Relationship Manager

As Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a segment of key accounts, building and maintaining long-term relationships, maximising revenue opportunities, and ultimately retaining business.You will be the main point of contact for day-to-day operational delivery and will seek to inspire and encourage continued growth.You will report to the Operations Director and work alongside fellow Relationship Managers. You will play a pivotal role in linking customers and various internal teams, acting as a liaison for questions, feedback and other operational tasks.The role is predominantly remote-based, but national travel to visit customers and attend regular team meetings. Meetings or training sessions may also be required (usually in Birmingham or London), and occasionally, evening or weekend work for events or trade shows will be necessary. Time will be given back in lieu.Responsibilities:Retain key customer accounts.Focus on growing and developing existing customers to achieve long-term success.Devise business plans and assist/advise customers in writing their own detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals/targets.Work to monthly sales targets and KPIs set by the Operations Director and CEO.Assess sales performance according to KPIs and report on a weekly/monthly basis to the Operations Director.Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions of the internal team.Conduct Business Reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.Escalate and help resolve areas of concern as raised by customers.Maintain the CRM.Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.Conduct training in sales techniques, marketing, and business management within the accounts.You will work largely independently and be given autonomy to shape the role accordingly.
