Velonetic (a collaboration between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd's of London, with DXC as the major shareholder) is currently seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our expanding team. Sales professionals are instrumental in driving the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, cultivating a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales through deal origination, negotiations, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will spearhead sales efforts and pursuits across the London Market Insurance industry, promoting our BPS solutions.
Craft and articulate Velonetics unique value proposition, devising strategic win themes for proposals.
Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new accounts.
Collaborate closely with account and offering teams, leading our most intricate sales pursuits to meet growth targets.
Possessing expertise in client relationships, with an extensive network to identify opportunities and establish new relationships within the C-Suite of our enterprise accounts.
Accountable for prospecting and nurturing new BPS opportunities through the sales funnel, sourcing new opportunities while guiding and supporting assigned pursuits.
Lead the sales cycle from inception to delivery of tailored BPS solutions to large and/or challenging clients.
Meet or exceed annual targets assigned to the BPS offering.
Collaborate with pre-sales support and client relationship personnel to drive a pipeline of qualified leads.
Skills Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the Insurance and/or Lloyd's of London Market marketplace/industry.
Proven track record of collaborative work with Account teams to devise strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close revenue opportunities.
Experience in meeting annual and quarterly targets.
Previous involvement in the BPS consulting industry.
Knowledge of the competitive landscape and sales process within the Insurance BPS sector.
Strong track record of sales success, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level.
Ability to lead and collaborate within a team environment, with willingness to travel.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
