As the Senior Sales Key Account Manager selling water and effluent trade treatment you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our existing client accounts within the business-to-business sector. You will also lead and inspire two Account Managers and a Key Account Manager to achieve exceptional results.
As team you will work closely with businesses to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and ensure the continued satisfaction and success of our customers. Your role will include overseeing the full customer lifecycle, from initial consultation through to solution implementation, and driving long-term relationships that support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets.
- Manage and Develop Existing Accounts: Take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further business growth.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client businesses, acting as the main point of contact.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless implementation of solutions and delivery of services.
- Conduct regular sales meetings: performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Reporting: Monitor sales performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans where necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in as a Senior Key Account Manager or Sales Manager, preferably in water solutions, environmental services, utilities or a related field.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Customer-Focused: Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Problem-Solver: Analytical mindset with the ability to assess client needs and offer tailored, cost-effective water solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
- Organised & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritise tasks.
