Senior SAP PLM Consultant needed (Contract & Perm roles) Outside IR35 We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PLM Consultant to lead the implementation and optimization of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for our clients.The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SAP PLM modules and processes, and have a proven track record in managing full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-implementation support.As a Senior SAP PLM Consultant, you will act as a strategic advisor to clients, driving innovation, improving efficiency, and enhancing product lifecycle management practices.Key Responsibilities:Solution Design & Implementation:Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PLM solutions to meet business needs, focusing on areas such as product data management (PDM), project and portfolio management (PPM), engineering change management, and document management.Integrate SAP PLM with other modules, including SAP ERP (MM, PP, SD), SCM, and CAD systems, to deliver a holistic product lifecycle solution.Provide recommendations for best practices and industry standards to optimize PLM processes across product development, engineering, and manufacturing.Business Process Analysis:Conduct workshops with clients to understand their business processes and identify gaps in current systems.Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring the alignment of SAP PLM solutions with client objectives.Perform fit-gap analysis to determine whether standard SAP functionalities or custom developments are required.Customization & Configuration:Configure SAP PLM modules, including handling master data, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering change orders, version management, and product cost calculations.Work closely with technical teams to oversee any necessary custom developments (ABAP, Fiori apps) and ensure they meet client specifications.Project Leadership & Client Engagement:Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing stakeholder expectations and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery within scope and deadlines.Provide mentorship and leadership to junior SAP consultants, supporting their growth and development.If this seems like a fit, please send me your CV and we can have a call to discuss further!
