On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Scientist - Cyber Security AI Researcher an initial 12-month contract. As the Senior Scientist you will undertake cutting edge digital security research and innovation activities with the ultimate goal of developing solutions to the business' problems for which a solution doesn't currently exist. Role: Senior Scientist - Cyber Security AI Researcher Pay:
40 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Newport /Hybrid Contract: 24/7 shift rotation, nights and days, 37 hours per week, 6 months IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: Current SC Clearance, has to be in place to start Responsibilities Collaboration: Collaborate in cyber security innovation activities, with internal and external peers. Provide expert consultation services on the specialist cyber security subject. Coordination: Support cyber security innovation coordination across the business to maximise alignment, to include knowledge transfer in various forms. Build and maintain working network across Airbus among subject matter peers and stakeholders. Undertake internal & external engagements on behalf of the digital security officeInnovation: Deliver innovation projects to cost, quality and time constraints. Deliver activity reports and presentations to cost, quality and time constraints. Build and maintain a research network to support the specialist cyber security subject. Essential Skills: A BSc degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.Preferable Additional professional training / certifications and experience in Cyber Security.Preferable Substantial experience in Cybersecurity of Artificial Intelligence / Machine LearningPreferable Substantial experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning applied to Cyber SecurityDigital security experience in relevant digital security specialist areaExperience of research, innovation and/or solution developmentPreferably Experience of managing digital security and/or research & innovation projectsPreferably Publication track recordPreferably Experience of patent applications and intellectual property managementExcellent report writing and presentation skillsExcellent spoken and written language proficiency (English)Curious and innovative mindsetComfortable presenting in the public domain Advantage: French and German language skillsDesirable Skills Recent PhD or MSc in a relevant "Cyber-AI" -relevant area.Recent research publication track record in a relevant "Cyber-AI" -relevant area.
