Senior Security Consultant

Akamai Consultant 6 - month Initial contract Remote working UK Based Purview services are currently recruiting for a Akamai consultant on an initial 6 month contract. As an Akamai consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide expertise in Akamai's suite of content delivery network (CDN) services and cloud security solutions. You will need to work closely with the client to understand their business needs and design and implement Akamai solutions to improve web performance, security, and reliability. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to assess their requirements and recommend appropriate Akamai solutions. Design, configure, and implement Akamai CDN and cloud security services to enhance website performance and protect against cyber threats. Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure that web applications meet or exceed performance objectives. Troubleshoot technical issues related to Akamai products and services, providing timely resolutions and expertise. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in CDN, cloud security, and web performance optimization. Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on maximizing the benefits of Akamai solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Certified Akamai professional with demonstrable expertise in implementing and managing Akamai solutions. Strong understanding of CDN technologies, web protocols, and cloud security practices. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with automation tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role. Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently. Prior experience in consulting or a client-facing role is preferred.
