Senior Service Desk Analyst
Edinburgh (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office)
£35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Our client is looking for a Senior Service Desk Analyst, who will play a vital role in the support function for their Central Edinburgh based office. The successful Support Analyst will be comfortable with 2nd Line responsibilities and assisting with both on-site and remote support to circa 60-100 people.
You will play a key role in evolving our service desk function, supporting users, solve complex problems, and drive productivity. You will be comfortable being the face of support and working independent but also have the ability to suggest new ways of working and implement new ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line support for unresolved issues
Work closely with users, offering a personal touch for effective problem resolution
Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual tasks
Help integrate AI tools in troubleshooting, ensuring both human and automated efforts complement each other
Document and track incidents, contributing to knowledge base development
Stay updated on new technologies to maintain effective service delivery
Skills & Experience:
Experience within a Service Desk/Technical Support role
A problem solving mindset, curious and someone who looks to new ideas and improvements of ways of working
Expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows 10/11, Office 365)
Experience with Azure AD
Experience with Microsoft Intune
Proficient in service desk systems and workflows
Customer centric, support focused
