Senior Service Engineer

Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join the department

The successful candidate must have with experience of repairing vintage HiFi radios or “valve” T.V’s

Duties include:

• To assess and repair customers amplifiers


• Provide quotes when necessary for work to be undertaken


• To answer phone calls from customers and to give qualified engineers advice and guidance


• Report work undertaken on internal system


• Provide detailed report to be sent back with the amplifier


• To be familiar with internal system to access circuits and diagrams


• Answer technical emails


• Collect parts needed for repair from stores department


• Dispose of components in line with company procedure


• Communicate any recurring issues or technical issues found with manager


• To ensure customer and personal safety at all time


• Organise workshop stock and tool replenishment


• To be on hand to give advice and help to colleagues

Essential requirements:

• Able to give advice and help Colleagues


• Be an excellent communicator


• A qualification within Electrical & Electronics (Ideally BTEC Level 3)


• Experience of repairing Hifi’s and TV’s
