Senior Site Agent

Abatec are currently assisting our client, an international, Civil Engineering contractor who are responsible for delivering technically complex projects on site at Devonport. ��

We are looking for a Senior Site Agent/Project Manager to lead the delivery of this complex high-profile project in Plymouth. The successful individual will have a strong client interface and will therefore need to have exceptional management skills, who can liaise with individuals at all levels in a calm and collective manner.

You will be overseeing the experienced team ensuring this project is delivered safely on time and within budget, while meeting high standards required for this critical national infrastructure.

As a Senior Site Agent you will:

• Oversee a multidisciplinary team of Engineers and Subcontractors.


• Ensure health and safety and quality are maintained throughout the project.


• Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are�followed accurately.


• Suggests and implements improvements to systems.


• Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity, including�managing others in this regard.


• Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility and�supervise others in this regard.

Our client requires a Senior Site Agent with:

• BSc/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering


• Previous experience of working as a�Site�Engineer on a highways or Civil Engineering Project


• Experience of NEC forms of contract


• SMSTS/SSSTS Tickets


• Tier 1 experience would be great but not essential

Salary/Benefits:

• �65,000 - �73,000 per annum DOE
