The Company:
Our client is a sought after and well established main contractor with a strong reputation across the South West and Midlands markets and a good pipeline of work within 1 hour of their Gloucester office. Typical projects are £2m - £9million refurbishment and new build projects across sectors including Commercial, Care, Social Housing and Apartments.
Senior Site Manager - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager or Project Manager to join the team to run an initial £6m refurbishment project in Harborne, Birmingham. The scheme is a  conversion of a multi-storey building. The existing Building is being converted to a 77-bed care home.. Works will consist of Demolition/Strip out internally, and then a full re-fit internally including associated new drainage works, and fire stopping and separation.  As no1 site manager and will lead on Health and Safety and overall control of the site also liaising with the client on design and specification, hosting meetings and producing reports along and weekly paperwork.

You will be responsible for leading the day delivery aspects overseeing trades, sub-contractors and direct staff. The role will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for day-to-day delivery of site operations.  Each project will be varied and the company is able to offer excellent career progression for hard working, loyal individuals. 
Senior Site Manager - The Person 

• You MUST have experience delivering inner city refurbishment projects of at least £3m in value.


• Experience as No.1 Senior Site Manager or Project Manager


• You will have solid experience with either a national or regional main contractor 


• Demonstrable experience of delivering varied projects across sectors for main contractors


• Able to create programmes from drawings


• Lead the project as No.1, chair meetings


• Proven experience in managing both sub-contractors and direct work-force 


• High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
