Site Manager
Location:�Maidstone
Salary:�Up to �320 a day
Ridgeway & Co�are looking for a�Site Manager�to join a rapidly growing main contractor, delivering�fast-paced public sector projects�across London. With project durations typically around�20 weeks�and values up to��2 million, this role is perfect for a dynamic manager who thrives in a high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of fast-track construction projects
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
Ensure all works meet quality, health & safety, and compliance standards
Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful completion
Identify and resolve any on-site issues proactively
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
Background working on public sector projects (schools, healthcare, local authority, etc.) is beneficial
Strong knowledge of fast-track project delivery
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
Based in or able to travel across London
