Senior Site Reliability Engineer ( Global organisation) Hybrid working We are working with a leading global organisation based in the heart of London. We are looking for an experienced hands-on Senior SRE to join the talented Infrastructure team helping to maintain and develop the platform that powers all our online products. You will work closely with the other SREs and the Engineers across various product teams. You will have the opportunity to own large scale features, as well as the chance to help define the future direction of the platform. As the Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for: The overall health of our EU and CN Kubernetes Clusters Oversee the security and access to the clusters and other key systems Help software engineering teams deal with scalability issues Help drive costs down through efficiency improvements, stack simplifications, etc Interact with vendors (Cloudflare, Datadog, Tailscale, etc) As the Site Reliability Engineer, you will have the following experience: BSc Computer Science ( or Engineering/ similar) Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable, highly available, observable and Secure Infrastructure Proven experience of maintaining Kubernetes cluster (EKS) in high traffic environment Good working experience with various network protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS ) Very good understanding of the common security standard and practice Good understanding of modern software development practices (code review, TDD, Agile) A genuine passion for working in a team and building great products that delight end users.
