Their cross-platform allows thousands of gambling brands to extend and expand their offering – with an all-in one platform current spanning across 50% of the USA – and expanding fast!This new role will have you working closely with their UK development team to ensure builds and deployments are done on time with a focus on high observability, uptime and scalability! The RoleYou will help to enhance our system availability, observability, security and reliability whilst resolving issues before they impact our customers. You will also play a role in the continued evolution of software delivery and incident management capabilitiesBuilding an effective, global SRE capabilityWork to improve issue management practicesProactively addressing application, platform and database performance and reliability issuesKey SkillsMust have 5+ years experience in SRE or similar rolesProven software engineering background, ideally Ruby but C# and Java also suitableA proven track record of improving application observability, security and reliability. A self motivated, exceptional communicator who is passionate about driving services forward. Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systemsA proven track record of working with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services – CDK, EKS services is preferred. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails software development would be desirable. Proven experience and appreciation of IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) practicesExperience in automating infrastructure, testing, and deployments using tools like Ansible, Chef, or TerraformUse of Datadog for dashboard and tooling would be highly desirable.
