Senior Social Strategist

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and creative Senior Social Strategist to join their marketing agency. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of innovative social media strategies for a range of clients. As a key figure in the social team, you will collaborate across departments to shape campaign approaches, enhance brand storytelling, and drive measurable business outcomes for their clients through social media.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop comprehensive social media strategies that align with client goals, leveraging key platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)Lead social media campaign creation, including content development, platform-specific tactics, audience targeting, and performance measurement.Drive innovative and trend-forward approaches to storytelling and brand engagement on social platformsAct as the primary social media lead for assigned accounts, working closely with clients to understand business goals, brand voice, and objectives.Present strategic recommendations and performance reports to clients, ensuring transparency and clear communicationCollaborate with creative, content, and paid media teams to develop cohesive and engaging social campaigns.Oversee the creation of content calendars, ensuring messaging aligns with both client goals and platform best practices.MAIN REQUIREMENTSExperience in social media strategy, ideally within an agency environment.Proven ability to create and implement multi-platform social media strategies that drive engagement and conversion.Deep understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends (including paid social strategy).Strong analytical skills, with experience in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) to track performance and extract insights.SUMO are an equal opportunities employer.
