Senior Software Developer

Job Title: Senior Software Developer Reporting To: Senior Product Manager Salary: c. £ DOE Job Purpose: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining high performance applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a scalable and reliable software solution. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET, Python and Java technologies. Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to create high quality software. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions. Qualifications/ Attainments Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field. Skills and Competencies Essential Proven experience as a .NET Developer, Java and Python. Profiency in C#, Java or other OO language. Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React. Experience with SQL Server and database design. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You must have the right to work in the UK. Able to work flexibly as required to ensure business needs are met. Able to travel as required, including European and possibly global travel.. Desirable Experience with cloud platforms ( Azure or AWS). Familiarity with DevOps practices.
