Senior Software Engineer - AOSP/Android

Innovative cyber security tech company is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with experience of Android Open Source / AOSP as a key part of their mobile platform security engineering team.As a Senior Android Open Source Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building, developing and maintaining AOSP based projects for R&D purposes and for specific product/customer requirements.This will be a sole contributor role from day one, so you have the opportunity to add value immediately. Going forward, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a growing team of engineers to develop future AOSP projects. Key skills/experience required:Expertise of the AOSP architecture & proven experience developing and releasing AOSP-based projects (this can be from personal projects)First class knowledge of Java for AndroidGood familiarity with Kotlin (C and C++ may also be useful)Comprehensive experience of Android Studio, SDK, development tools and build systemFamiliarity with aspects of Android security and/or mobile security projectsThis role will require security clearance to SC level - so you must be eligible.
