As a Senior Software Engineer in the Web Platform team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining production systems to ensure Metaverse projects can scale operationally, with a focus on delivering systems, APIs, infrastructure components, and alerting and reporting solutions. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure services in production Independently scope and lead technical initiatives for early-stage products Contribute to the product roadmap and assist in setting the vision and strategy for the team Develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience Contribute to team strategy, tooling, and processes Mentor and coach other engineers Requirements Professional experience maintaining production services Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Proficiency in modern programming languages like TypeScript, Python, Go, etc. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Salt, and container orchestration technologies Ability to review code and maintain high standards of code quality Self-starter mindset, capable of context-switching between various projects Prototype and rapid iteration mentality with pragmatic delivery methods Ability to create tutorials, guides, or documentation for junior engineers If you want to apply, fill out the application form by clicking the "Apply for this job" button. #J-18808-Ljbffr
