As a Software Engineer in New Homes part of our Software Buisness - you have the opportunity to influence and build software used by some of the largest home builders and thousands of buyers of newly built homes to complete one of the most important purchases they ll make. Our mission is to take the pain out of the new home buying experience so that home buyers can focus on making a house a home. You ll be at home if (key responsibilities) You re able to strike the balance between building enough to prove a concept or plan and deliver a fully scalable, enterprise solution You re a role model to your teammates and can coach them when needed and help foster our engineering culture, standards and approaches You re professional and collaborate when planning integrations with Third Parties You play a key part of inputting into the vision for the product and technology that powers it You ll hit the ground running if (skills and experience - stick to what we need) You re full stack including extensive experience with C# .NET & JavaScript You have experience with Relational SQL and also perhaps NoSQL databases You have experience with Terraform, Continuous Integration and Agile and can apply domain driven application design principles You re working on your engineering craft, and you practise writing maintainable code, reviewing code, pair programming at times, and writing tests. You ll be experienced in AWS creating, integrating & maintaining robust cloud solutions whilst balancing cost, maintenance & uptime with a DevOps mentality You re a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and can lead change There s always room to grow and learn with our roles so please don t be put off if you don t have all of these skills and experiences.
