Senior Software Engineer (Payments/Banking) How d you fancy diving into the world of tech-driven payments & exploring the realms of Open Banking? You ll probably want to carry on working from home too, probably for a company that prioritise bringing in the best talent, rather than just whoever lives the closest. You ll enjoy having a seat at the table when it comes to decision making, working within an environment that encourages new ideas, wants trailblazers to come up with weird and unheard of solutions, who are comfortable taking ownership of their own work. Open Banking, in the grand scheme of things, is still in its infancy with so many technological developments to look forward to over the next decade or so. But here, you ll do what you can to disrupt the industry, innovatively doing things first, instead of waiting for others. You ll be working within a start-up environment (headcount approx. 25-30), focusing on a platform that s already integrated with pretty much every UK and EU bank, with an exciting pipeline of work to sink your teeth into. Tech wise, everything s hosted on Azure, written using .NET Core and C#, implementing both Kubernetes-based and serverless Microservices architectures (you d need plenty of experience with all). Experience with RestAPIs, gRPC, event and messaging communications frameworks would help. It s fully remote, they have an office in Central London if you fancied popping in, but it d be entirely up to you they ve got Engineers spread all over the UK, so location won t be an issue. Salary wise, they ll pay £65,000-£80,000 DOE the package includes equity and health insurance plans.
