Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer - Remote-First - UK A repeat client of mine are soon to be looking for an additional senior software engineer thanks to growth within their 45 person strong engineering team. The team is close-knit but distributed throughout the UK with people based all over. Whilst the role is remote first, you will be expected to travel once a quarter / every 3-months to an office just outside of Edinburgh. Within the team, you'll be working predominantly on backend projects, utilising your skills of Python and Typescript. The company is in the advertising and entertainment sphere, so you can expect to work on multiple projects aimed at stimulating engagement; including chatbots, messaging suits and more. Key skills needed for the position:3+ years of Python Experience 2+ years of Typescript SQL / PostgreSQL Experience of AWS (Terraform is really beneficial) From experience recruiting for this company, they're a really passionate bunch and certainly keen on continued learning and development. They spend 20% of their time a week on continued learning and development within the company, whether or not this is courses or certifications (they pay for this too).
