Its an exciting time to join the team with ambitious growth plans.We are shortlisting for a Senior Developer with experience developing web applications using PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React / Next.js) with AWS and MySQL. Its a hands on role with elements of coaching and mentorship to the wider team.You'll join a small team of Software Developers who love to experiment with the latest tools, technologies and techniques to improve their award winning web and mobile applications.Required Experience:• Highly proficient with PHP, and ideally with the teams framework of choice - Laravel• Experience with relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL)• A pragmatic attitude towards testing and confidence in writing automated tests• Experience with AWS and Laravel Forge for deployment and server management.• Ability to take ownership of the entire lifecycle of a task from research and specification through development, testing and deployment• Working knowledge of JavaScript (The team are using a mix of NodeJS, Next and React at the moment)• API development• High attention to detail• Strong verbal & written communication skillsA majority of the development team are working from a modern workspace in North Leeds (with free parking) 2 days a week with the rest of the week spent working from home.You'll be supported with structured training and regular 1-2-1's with your line manager to review progress and provide support.
