Senior Software Engineer Permanent Hybrid Royal Leamington Spa, UK £70,000 to £80,000 per year We are seeking a proficient Senior Software Engineer to join our client in Royal Leamington Spa. If you have a strong background in full stack development, with expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and SQL/PostgreSQL, this role is for you. Senior Software Engineer Requirements: Previous experience in a Senior Software Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and JavaScript (familiarity with Node.js or Python is a bonus). A firm grasp of automated testing, including unit, integration, and end to end tests. Strong foundation in SQL, with extensive experience using PostgreSQL. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes (familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a bonus). Understanding of AI capabilities, with a desire to integrate AI into software solutions. Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities: Utilise full stack development skills to develop and maintain high quality software solutions. Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript. Develop robust backend systems with Ruby on Rails, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications. Maintain and optimise PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance and reliability. Employ Docker/Kubernetes for containerization, with exposure to GCP/Google Cloud Platform as a bonus. Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
