Senior Software Engineer

As a result of growth, they are now looking for Senior Software Engineer to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the role fully, generating new ideas and methods that can drive success, whilst also getting directly involved and hands-on with a variety of projects. The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary of up to c£55,000 D.O.E plus other benefits including hybrid working and 38 days annual leave.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and code reliable software using a variety of languages, frameworks and other tools including Node.JS, React and C#/VB.NETDevelop documentation and training material conforming to relevant company standards and proceduresUndertake testing and validation of developed code, documentation, and training materials as requiredContribute to project planning, identifying and advising on technical tasks to be undertaken and the resources required for the projectsSupport Junior and Mid-Level Engineers with workload if requiredProviding post-sales support for existing productsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience working in a similar Senior Software Engineer positionSolid experience using Node.JS and React, as well as C#/VB.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScriptA degree in Computer Science (or similar) desirable, along with any further IT-related certificationsKnowledge of cloud technology including MS AzureGood knowledge of networking infrastructure beneficial, including Ethernet and TCP/IPFamiliarity with regional databases and Linux OS a bonusAny experience with embedded/hardware engineering beneficialVacancy SummaryHours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pmSalary: Up to c£55,000 per annum D.O.ELocation: Alfreton, DerbyshireJob Type: Full-Time, Hybrid Working, PermanentUnfortunately, we are unable to contact all candidates due to the large volume of applications we receive.
